The former AEW TNT Champion, Sammy Guevara commented on his absence from the promotion with a cryptic message on social media. Sammy’s comment was curious because it was similar to another star’s message.
Sammy Guevara joined All Elite Wrestling during the promotion’s inception in 2019. He was considered one of the four pillars of the company along with MJF, Jack Perry, and Darby Allin. He also became the TNT Champion three times during his tenure, but has not been on AEW TV since November 2025.
Guevara has been wrestling on Tony Khan-owned Ring of Honor for the past few months, where he is the current ROH World Tag Team Champion alongside The Beast Mortos. Meanwhile, a fan on the X social media platform pointed out how most of the pillars are on the Revolution 2026 card except Guevara.
Sammy Guevara took notice of the fan’s post and responded by providing an unfortunate update that it’s not up to him to be on TV:
“Not up to me amigo,” Sammy wrote.
Sammy’s message was cryptically curious because the currently absent star, Britt Baker had also said that it’s not up to her when a fan asked about her potential return at Revolution 2026.
Sammy Guevara recently provided an update on his AEW return
Amid his absence from All Elite Wrestling since November 2025, Sammy Guevara addressed the speculations through his recent Instagram story, saying his return is uncertain, as the question of return is not for him:
“When am I going to be back on AEW TV? That’s a great question. Who knows — maybe tomorrow? No, I won’t be there tomorrow. Uncertain. I would like to be, but that’s not really a question for me. I just do my thing and make sure I’m ready,” Guevara wrote.
Fans will have to wait and see when Sammy Guevara will be back on TV, as he continues to perform in Ring of Honor.
