AEW star Swerve Strickland made a huge announcement on tonight’s Dynamite, but not before taking out his nemesis. The Realest star obliterated Kenny Omega a few weeks ago and turned heel in the process. Last week, he put the entire locker room on notice. He also questioned the Cleaner’s statement from two weeks ago, where Omega called Brody King the Most Dangerous Man in AEW. This didn’t sit well with Swerve, as he has owned that moniker for over a year.
Brody King took no time responding to the former AEW World Champion’s challenge. Last Wednesday, he challenged Swerve Strickland to face him at Revolution on March 15. However, Brody didn’t hear back from his nemesis for the entire week. Therefore, on tonight’s Dynamite, the Hound of Hell once again called out the Realest star. Shockingly, the latter attacked King from the back.
The Most Dangerous Man in AEW then choked the former AEW World Tag Team Champion just like he did with Kenny Omega. Strickland then accepted Brody King’s challenge. The two will face each other at Revolution to settle the debate of who among the two is the most dangerous man in the company.
Prince Nana reveals why Swerve Strickland turned heel
The former AEW World Champion turned face after helping Hangman Page at All In: Texas. Since then, he has been a side character. However, during his feud with Kenny Omega, he decided to take over once again. Therefore, he took out the Cleaner a few weeks ago and has reclaimed himself as one of the most vicious stars on the roster.
After turning heel, his manager, Prince Nana, took to X to claim that Swerve Strickland needed the character shift, as he had been sitting on the sidelines for far too long.
He needed this my friends… I’m sorry🕺🏽🕺🏽☕️ #AEW,” he wrote.
It will be interesting to see who becomes the Most Dangerous Man in AEW at Revolution, Brody or Swerve.
