Rhea Ripley won the 2026 Women’s Elimination Chamber Match this past Saturday. She is going to WrestleMania 42, challenging for the WWE Women’s Championship. Ripley recently took to X to dedicate the massive win to her loved one.
Ripley declared that her Elimination Chamber victory was dedicated to IYO SKY. The Genius of the Sky is one-half of RHIYO alongside Mami. SKY and The Eradicator had a stellar reign with the Women’s Tag Team Title before losing it to Nia Jax and Lash Legend on the latest edition of SmackDown.
Thanks for the submission!
On X, Ripley shared the following emotional message for SKY:
“For @Iyo_SkyWWE #EliminationChamber 2026,” she wrote.
This past Friday, Ripley was pinned by Lash Legend in their tag team title match. The babyfaces lost the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship in the process. Hence, Mami was seemingly blaming herself for the defeat. A day later, she won the Elimination Chamber Match, redeeming herself and dedicating the victory to SKY.
Rhea Ripley will compete in her 7th consecutive title match at WrestleMania
Rhea Ripley performed in a title match at WrestleMania even before she joined the main roster. She defended her NXT Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair at ‘Mania 36. The following year, she faced Asuka in a RAW Women’s Championship match at The Show of Shows.
At WrestleMania 38, she joined forces with Liv Morgan to compete for the Women’s Tag Team Championship in a Fatal Four-Way Tag Team Match. In 2023, Mami battled Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
Ripley squared off against Becky Lynch for the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania XL. Last year, The Eradicator went up against IYO SKY and Bianca Belair in a Triple Threat Match for the Women’s World Title. Following her win in Chicago, Ripley will challenge Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship, marking her seventh consecutive title match at ‘Mania.
