Mercedes Mone stepped away from AEW after her dominance came to a conclusion on television. As she continues to remain absent, Mone sent out a message to a member of The Death Riders’ faction.
The aforementioned star, who is a former MMA fighter, is Marina Shafir. The CEO of women’s wrestling was riding the wave of momentum as 2025 began. However, she began to suffer one setback after another as the year went by, and it also saw the end of her record-setting TBS Championship reign. A week after that, Mone chose to leave AEW for a while, but promised to come back stronger than ever.
In her absence, Marina Shafir has become a regular and consistent fixture on AEW television. The Problem has been featured as part of the women’s division and as a Death Riders faction member in various storylines. She recently posted a picture on social media, flexing her biceps to showcase her amazing physique.
This attracted a lot of attention from fans and wrestlers, including Mercedes Mone, who dropped a one-word message for Shafir in the comment section.
“Wow 🔥.”
