One of AEW’s top names, Mercedes Mone, has been scheduled to return to a European indie promotion where she holds a title currently. The CEO has been missing from action for almost two months now.
Mercedes Mone closed out her 2025 on a devastating note, failing to capture the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Titles at Worlds End, and later losing her only singles championship in the company, the TBS Title, to Willow Nightingale on Dynamite: New Year’s Smash. After being humiliated by The Babe with The Power and her friends, Kris Statlander and Willow Nightingale, during the newly crowned champ’s victory celebration, the erstwhile Sasha Banks announced that she was leaving All Elite Wrestling for an indefinite period of time.
Mercedes has been on hiatus in AEW since then- however, she is still scheduled for multiple future appearances on the independent circuit. A few hours ago, Polish indie promotion Prime Time Wrestling took to Instagram to reveal that “Nine Belts” Mone will be returning to the company for its March 29 show PTW: More Mone, More Problems, where she will be defending the PTW Women’s Championship.
“IT IS HAPPENING! One of the best and most popular pro wrestlers in the world – Mercedes Mone is coming back to Poland to defend her Prime Time Wrestling Women’s Championship! Save the date of March 29 and be ready for an amazing show called PTW: More Mone, More Problems as well as a meet and greet with the global superstar you know from AEW, WWE or the Star Wars franchise – you just can’t miss it!” – said the promotion’s official announcement.
Mercedes had captured the PTW Women’s Title (as well as the Bestya Women’s Title) at PTW All About The Mone on July 27 last year, defeating Diana Strong in singles competition.
AEW’s Mercedes Mone shared another massive announcement recently
In the midst of her ongoing All Elite Wrestling hiatus, Mercedes Mone recently disclosed a massive personal project on the latest edition of her newsletter Mone Mag. The CEO revealed that she was launching Mone Wear, a limited-edition collection of her clothing, ring-gear and accessories spanning her 15-year-long wrestling career, which will be available for purchase via auction.
“I’m opening my vault. Moné Wear is a limited-edition archive collection featuring authentic pieces from my wardrobe — yes, including ring gear and accessories — worn throughout more than 15 years of my defining and most memorable moments, each delivered as a collectible with a note from your CEO. Quantities are extremely limited and available by auction only, giving you a direct connection to my legacy and a first glimpse into the future of the Mercedes Moné fashion era. Action is going live week of Feb 22, 2026, on my website: www.mercedes.mone.com”, said the announcement.
It remains to be seen when “Ultimo” Mone will be back on AEW programming.
