WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella has been making headlines since her return to the squared circle a few months ago. The former Divas Champion had a heartbreaking and controversial fallout with her ex-husband, Artem Chigvintsev, a few months ago, and was spotted with NFL player Cooper DeJean recently.
While both Bella and Cooper looked great together, things seemingly didn’t work out between them. The star recently appeared in an interview with Lala Kent, addressing her relationship status.
Thanks for the submission!
The Hall of Famer revealed that while Cooper was amazing, the 20-year age gap turned out to be the reason things didn’t work out between them. The star also added that the media made headlines about the age gap, which was also a reason why things didn’t move forward.
“20 years younger is super young. I did have different conversations with that one. But I realized that young 20s are young, but late 20s are great. I’m someone who’s obsessed with conversation and sharing experiences. I already know that I need to have someone who’s lived a journey; that’s how I connect. I look at the guys in their 20s that I’ve been with as hookups—have fun, make you feel se*y—and I never thought of them as more than that… It was the media, because they made a big deal about this age gap… He’s the 20-year one I made the headlines with. He’s amazing, but it’s just the age gap,” she stated. (H/T RingsideNews)
