Perez Hilton reacted after The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives alum, Taylor Frankie Paul, publicly denied allegations that she had ever harmed her children, amid an ongoing domestic assault investigation. In a March 19 article published on his website, Hilton wrote:
“Taylor Frankie Paul is denying one of the alarming allegations against her at this time…We really hope she is telling the truth. Those are some very serious allegations.”
In his website article, the podcaster also outlined the allegations surrounding Taylor Frankie Paul.
He explained that authorities had launched an investigation into an alleged domestic incident involving Taylor Frankie Paul and her ex-partner, Dakota Mortensen.
“As we have been reporting, the Draper City Police Department confirmed there is an ongoing domestic assault investigation following an alleged incident between her and her baby daddy/ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen, last month, which shut down production on the fifth season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” he said
Perez Hilton further described the nature of the allegations circulating in recent reports, indicating that while officials had not confirmed specific details, multiple troubling claims had emerged. These included accusations that Taylor Frankie Paul had allegedly “choked” Mortensen during an argument and had also become “physical” with one of her children.
“According to reports, the Utah Division of Child and Family Services got involved after Dakota reported the new Bachelorette for allegedly abusing their almost 2-year-old son, Ever. OMG,” Perez Hilton added.

In the aforementioned website article, Perez Hilton also detailed what Taylor Frankie Paul said as she publicly denied allegations that she had ever harmed her children, amid ongoing abuse claims.
Hilton reported that Paul had addressed the abuse allegations during an interview with Entertainment Tonight while attending a press preview for her upcoming season of ABC’s dating series, The Bachelorette, in New York City on Tuesday, March 17. He further added how “she insisted to Entertainment Tonight” that she “never touched” a single one of her children.
Citing what Taylor Frankie Paul told Entertainment Tonight, Hilton added:
“It’s been extremely heavy and, honestly, it took everything in me to get here today. I’ve never touched my children. So, to see those headlines has been heartbreaking, and my family obviously is all affected. They all know who I am. I know who I am. For everyone in the public eye to, like, just believe it is really hard.”
Hilton further reported how the influencer addressed speculation surrounding the timing of the allegations, suggesting that they were not coincidental.
He said that Paul “went on to acknowledge” that the “timing” of the allegation against her was “unfortunate.” Paul claimed that she was “used to controversy” happening at “major career moments” at this point. But presently, she blamed a particular “someone” for “sabotaging” her before the premiere of her ABC network’s dating series.
Perez Hilton presumed that this “someone” was most likely Dakota Mortensen.
“I just think [it’s] due to someone that doesn’t like to see my success or happiness, and that’s just the truth of it,” Hilton added, citing what Paul told Entertainment Tonight.
The podcaster then noted that, despite what Paul believed, her ex, Dakota, had “denied leaking any information about the dispute to the press.”
Referring to her Entertainment Tonight interview, Pete Hilton also added how Paul claimed it would be “so freeing” to tell her “entire side of the story” someday, but refused “to say anything more.” For now, she was “addressing the abuse claims about her children,” which she thought was “enough.”
“I’ve just done a lot of protecting for my child and my family to really not get into that,” Hilton added , citing what Taylor Frankie Paul told Entertainment Tonight
The blogger also highlighted Paul’s role as a mother, noting that she shared two children, an 8-year-old daughter, Indy, and a 5-year-old son, Ocean, with her ex-husband, Tate Paul.
Concluding his report, Hilton reflected on the situation’s impact on her family, expressing concern for her children during the ongoing controversy.
“Hopefully, her kids are OK during this troubling time. All of this can’t be easy right now,” Perez Hilton said.
Despite the ongoing domestic assault investigation against her, Taylor Frankie Paul is gearing up for her season of The Bachelorette (Season 22), which will premiere on March 22 on ABC.
