Following a disappointing conclusion to the 2025 season, the Dallas Cowboys entered the offseason with pending contract decisions for several key players, including placekicker Brandon Aubrey.

The three-time Pro Bowler is a restricted free agent and the team is reportedly working on a new deal for the placekicker after running back Javonte Williams’s three-year deal this month.

Cowboys executive vice president and CEO Stephen Jones said on Sunday that the team is working on a long-term deal with the Pro Bowl kicker, per The Athletic’s Jon Machota.

“We’ve been working on a long-term deal for some time,” Jones said. “We’ve exchanged offers, and the goal is to get him signed. We’ll tender him before the deadline if that’s what we have to decide.”

The deadline for restricted free agents is the start of the new league year on March 11 at 4:00 p.m. ET. The Cowboys will hope to get a deal done for the Pro Bowler before the deadline, or they will have to first- or second-round tender.
