Todd Golden’s Florida Gators made history with their 111-77 win over John Calipari’s Arkansas Razorbacks. The 2025-26 Gators’ 34-point win is the largest in program history against an AP-ranked opponent.

Todd Golden’s Gators are the reigning national champions. They won their third national championship with a 65-63 victory of the Houston Cougars in 2025.
The No. 7-ranked Gators handed John Calipari a tie for the worst loss of his collegiate coaching career. It tied a 34-pointer against Duke in 2018, while Calipari was the coach of the Duke Blue Devils.
Tempers flared in the game as Golden and Calipari got double techs early in the second half after screaming at each other near midcourt. Calipari had to be pulled away by his assistants while Golden pumped up the home crowd.

The No. 7-ranked Florida Gators have now earned at least a share of the Southeastern Conference title. They did this by routing the 20th-ranked Arkansas Razorbacks in front of their home crowd. Thomas Haugh led the Gators in scoring while Rueben Chinyelu notched a double-double.
Next up for Todd Golden’s team is a home game against the Mississippi State Bulldogs. It’ll be the Gators’ last home game of the regular season. So, they’ll look to put up a show for their home supporters.
John Calipari’s Arkansas Razorbacks will look to bounce back from their embarrassing loss when they host the Texas Longhorns. The Razorbacks need a statement win to improve their morale after one of the worst losses in recent program history. The Texas Longhorns present that opportunity.
With March Madness around the corner, both Florida and Arkansas will fancy their chances of going all the way. The former is looking to make it back-to-back national championships.
