WWE star Bianca Belair shared a heartbreaking update on her injury today on social media. The EST has been out of action with a hand injury since WrestleMania 41 last year.
Belair took to her Instagram story today to ask fans for a million-dollar piece of jewelry for her injured finger. The humorous message suggests that she was still in the recovery process and may not be returning before WrestleMania 42. You can check out her message by clicking here.
Thanks for the submission!
IYO SKY successfully defended the Women’s World Championship against Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley in a Triple Threat match at The Show of Shows last year. Belair got injured during the match and still has not been able to return to action. Rhea Ripley won the Women’s Elimination Chamber match last month and will be challenging Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 42 next month in Las Vegas.
Bianca Belair discusses her injury amid WWE hiatus
Bianca Belair recently cleared the air about her injury and what has caused her to be out of action for so long.
Speaking on BET’s 106 & Sports, the former champion noted that the injury occurred when Rhea Ripley landed on her at WWE WrestleMania 41. She also shared that she broke her knuckle, and it has taken longer than expected to heal.
“Yeah, so, I broke my knuckle, which is not my finger. I broke my knuckle. I broke the joint. It’s something that I thought was going to be very straightforward, 8-12 weeks. It’s been almost six months at this point. But it was WrestleMania [41], and I was in a Triple Threat match with Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY, and we were going to the top rope because that’s what we do, and we came off the top rope, and Rhea landed straight on my hand, and it just crushed everything of my finger. So, it’s been a crazy journey,” Belair said.
Only time will tell when Bianca Belair will be cleared to return to the ring on WWE television.
