Manchester United defender Luke Shaw and his long-term partner Anouska Santos, 33, have welcomed their fourth child, a baby girl named Paisley, born on February 20, 2026.
Heartwarming Family Announcement
Santos shared the joyful news via Instagram, posting photos with her 85,000 followers. The images feature a mirror selfie of her holding Paisley, the newborn nestled in a cot with her siblings, and a close-up of Santos’ left hand displaying a new tattoo of Paisley’s name.
The caption simply read: “Paisley [heart with arrow] 20.02.26.”
Supportive Messages from Celebs
The post drew warm responses in the comments. Shaw replied with a red love heart emoji. Kennedy Alexa, partner of James Maddison, commented: “You’re incredible. Her name is gorgeous!!! Congratulations.”
Estelle Bergkamp, fiancée of Shaw’s former Manchester United teammate Donny van de Beek, added: “Ahhhhh congrats beauty.” Kaylee Ake, wife of Manchester City defender Nathan Ake, wrote: “Ahhh congratulations hun [red love heart emoji].”
United defender Harry Maguire also liked the post.
Family Details and Shaw’s Season
Paisley joins siblings Reign London, six, Storie, four, and Lumie, two. Shaw, 30, has delivered a strong season for Manchester United after a challenging injury-plagued 2024/25 campaign.
Health Update After Recent Match
Concern arose when Shaw left the pitch in the 24th minute of Sunday’s victory over Crystal Palace following a heavy challenge from Daniel Munoz. He received on-field treatment but could not continue.
Manager Michael Carrick clarified post-match that illness affected both Shaw and Harry Maguire, not injuries. Carrick remains optimistic ahead of Wednesday’s clash with Newcastle United.
“Still got a bit of time to the game, and we’ll just have to see how they feel,” Carrick stated. “We’ll give them every chance. They weren’t feeling too good, we’ve still got a bit of time so we’ll see. It wasn’t injury, both weren’t feeling too good, so it’s one of those things really.”
