Losprophets singer Ian Watkins, a convicted pedophile, was killed in a jail assault in the UK.
A number of reviews out of the UK on Saturday say Ian died after being attacked in jail by a knife-wielding inmate.
Ian was serving a 29-year jail sentence at HMP Wakefield after being convicted on little one intercourse offenses … together with the tried rape of a child.
West Yorkshire Police say they have been referred to as by jail employees at 9:39 AM Saturday for a report of an assault on a prisoner. Cops say the person was pronounced useless on the scene and murder detectives are investigating.
BBC says the useless prisoner right here is Ian, who had been in custody since December 2013.
Ian was additionally attacked in jail in August 2023, however he didn’t undergo life-threatening accidents in that incident.
We reached out to HMP Wakefield … which stated it had no remark presently.
He was 48.
