FTC launches inquiry into AI chatbots and youngster security

The Federal Commerce Fee ordered seven tech firms to supply particulars on how they forestall their chatbots from harming youngsters.

Requested about deadlines for the businesses to supply solutions, Bissex mentioned the FTC’s letters said that, “We wish to confer by phone with you or your designated counsel by no later than Thursday, September 25, 2025, to debate the timing and format of your submission.”
