FBI Director Kash Patel mentioned Saturday the company is ramping up its use of synthetic intelligence (AI) instruments to counter home and worldwide threats.

In a put up on X, Patel mentioned the FBI has been advancing its know-how, calling AI a “key part” of its technique to reply to threats and keep “forward of the sport.”

Patel added that FBI management has established a “know-how working group” led by outgoing Deputy Director Dan Bongino to make sure the company’s instruments “evolve with the mission.”

“These are investments that may pay dividends for America’s nationwide safety for many years to come back,” Patel mentioned.

A spokesperson for the FBI advised Fox Information Digital it had nothing additional so as to add past Patel’s X put up.
