Ecuador extradites infamous drug lord ‘Fito’ to US weeks after recapture

Adolfo Macias, alias “Fito”, was extradited to the US late Sunday weeks after the pinnacle of the Los Choneros gang was recaptured following his escape from an Ecuadoran jail. He’s the primary Ecuadoran extradition since President Daniel Noboa launched a “warfare” on prison gangs.
