Destiny 2’s upcoming weekly reset on February 17 brings in a slightly different list of updates than normal. Players have a small community event to run within the Equilibrium Dungeon, alongside a name changing voucher as a gift from the developers. Lastly, the core changes to the game’s standard activities remain, including the usual Vanguard alerts, expansion missions, endgame rotations, and more.
This article lists everything that is coming with the weekly reset on February 17.
Everything coming with the Destiny 2 weekly reset on Feb 17

Here is a list of everything that is scheduled for the weekly reset on Feb 17:
- Name changing voucher for everyone.
- Equilibrium Dungeon time-trial community event.
- Shipment resets in the Renegades expansion.
- New Vanguard alerts.
- Equilibrium Dungeon reset.
- The Edge of Fate and Renegades weekly mission reset.
- Eververse Store reset.
- Cimmerian Garrision Ascendant Challenge in Chamber of Starlight of Dreaming City.
1) Name changing voucher
Bungie seems to have scheduled a name-check all across the board, starting Feb 17. Any Bungie names that do not fit the terms of service will be reset, forcing the company to give away a name changing voucher to everyone. In case an innocent bystander gets their name mistakenly removed, they can use this token on Bungie’s official website to change their name back to the original.
2) Time-trial community event
From Feb 17 to March 3, weekly reset time, players can participate in a community time-trial event with the mandatory requirement being the Praxic Blade. Any fireteam, duo team, or a solo player that is able to complete the Equilibrium Dungeon in under 20 minutes with the Praxic Blade will become eligible for the “It Binds, Compels” emblem.
Unequipping the Praxic Blade is not allowed, and players do not have to equip any Feat for the run.
