A brush fireplace ignited in mountain foothills in Riverside County on Wednesday afternoon, rising to 700 acres by dusk and prompting evacuation orders in close by rural communities, authorities mentioned.
The Dale fireplace was reported shortly after 12:30 p.m. by Lugo Highway and Freeway 371 in Aguanga, based on the Riverside Unit of the California Division of Forestry and Fireplace Safety.
