Arizona Cardinals first-round choose Walter Nolen III is sidelined with a calf damage and there’s no timeline for his return.
The 21-year-old defensive lineman, chosen sixteenth general within the 2025 draft, was injured in offseason exercises, coach Jonathan Gannon informed reporters on Wednesday.
Gannon did not rule out that the damage might stretch into the common season.
“I do not know that,” Gannon informed reporters. “I actually do not. We’ll see the way it goes. Every one’s a bit of bit totally different. Every damage’s a bit of bit totally different. Every man’s a bit of bit totally different.”
Defensive deal with Bilal Nichols (neck) and outdoors linebacker BJ Ojulari (knee) may even be sidelined when Arizona opens coaching camp on Thursday.
Nichols was restricted to 6 video games (5 begins) attributable to stinger points final season. Ojulari missed your entire season after tearing the ACL in his left knee throughout 2024 coaching camp.
