Imani Dia Smith — a former youngster actor who starred in “The Lion King” on Broadway — has died.
In accordance with a press launch issued by Middlesex County, New Jersey, prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Edison Police Division chief Thomas Bryan, Smith was discovered Sunday in a residence in Edison, N.J. with stab wounds. She was reportedly pronounced useless at Robert Wooden Johnson College Hospital in New Brunswick.
The press launch says Smith’s boyfriend, Jordan D. Jackson-Small, was arrested and charged in reference to the stabbing loss of life.
Small, 35, was reportedly charged with first-degree homicide, second-degree endangering the welfare of a kid, third-degree possession of a weapon for an illegal objective and fourth-degree illegal possession of a weapon.
