Neighbours, 23, was positioned on injured reserve Tuesday after struggling the harm in Saturday’s 6-4 street loss to the Detroit Purple Wings. St. Louis’ first-round choose (No. 26) within the 2020 NHL Draft sat out a 6-3 setback on the Pittsburgh Penguins on Monday.
In eight video games this season, Neighbours has six targets and 7 factors, the latter which is tied for the staff lead. He’s scheduled to be re-evaluated in 5 weeks.
The Calgary, Alberta, native has posted 103 factors (62 targets, 41 assists) in 219 regular-season video games with St. Louis. In seven postseason video games, he has compiled six factors (one aim, 5 assists).
St. Louis did not instantly make a corresponding roster transfer.
