To the editor: The crux of this battle isn’t whether or not the business or activists are right over using the recyclability label, it’s whether or not or not the containers really are recyclable (“Contained in the battle over the recycling label in your milk carton,” Aug. 27). What number of articles within the Los Angeles Instances and different papers have identified over time our poor document of recycling? At this level, the nation ought to return to glass bottles. Simple to scrub and recycle. At worst, in the event that they break, they are often melted down and the glass reused, or lastly simply flip again into sand.
