Elizabeth Chambers — Armie Hammer‘s ex-wife — was the goal of a daunting tried break-in at her Los Angeles space residence … TMZ has realized.

Legislation enforcement sources inform us the incident was first reported as a housebreaking suspect on the property Monday morning, when somebody was seen making an attempt to achieve entry to her residence.

We’re advised Chambers wasn’t residence on the time, however was monitoring her property remotely when she noticed the intruder on surveillance footage and shortly alerted police.
