It’s important to note that the Elder Dragons only appear during nighttime, which can be triggered by either resting at camp or using the Catavan Stand. To spawn an Elder Dragon, players must win multiple battles during the night.
The dragons spawn in one of the following regions: Azuria, Canalta Timberlands, Tarkuan, or Serathis. Only one of these regions will host an Elder Dragon at a time, and it’s chosen randomly. If you switch the time of day, the monster will disappear. You can fast travel between these regions during the night time.

Namielle
Namielle is a Calamitous Elder Dragon that appears in the Azuria region at Mirror Lake. This monster uses both Water and Thunder attacks, making it important to prepare elemental defenses before starting the fight.

Ibushi and Narwa are Calamitous Elder Dragons that fight as a duo and could be considered the toughest battle in the game. The pair appears flying near the peak of Mt. Canalta in the Canalta Timberlands. Ibushi mainly uses Dragon element attacks, while Narwa focuses on Thunder-based abilities. Both also have a Mind Connection that links their combat states.

Yama Tsukami is located in the Bountiful Dunes of Tarkuan. It can be seen flying north of the giant crystallized dragon structure. It relies on non-elemental attacks and follows a technical attack pattern.
