Air Power One was pressured to return to Joint Base Andrews shortly after takeoff Tuesday night with President Donald Trump aboard, the White Home mentioned.
The crew skilled a “minor electrical subject” after takeoff at 10:20 p.m. and returned “out of an abundance of warning,” in line with White Home Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.
The lights within the press cabin briefly went out after takeoff, reporters on board mentioned.

Leavitt joked aboard Air Power One {that a} Qatari jet sounded “a lot better” in the mean time.
Air Power One landed at Joint Base Andrews at 11:07 pm. The president boarded a special plane and continued on to Switzerland shortly after 12 a.m.
