To the editor: Disgrace upon disgrace. An 18-year-old highschool scholar strolling his canine is arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (“An L.A. highschool senior was strolling his canine. Then immigration brokers grabbed him,” Aug. 14). I believed President Trump was after arresting “the worst of the worst.” The 18-year-old arrested is Benjamin Guerrero-Cruz, who had overstayed his visa — hardly becoming Trump’s arrest profile. Overstaying a visa will not be a legal offense; it’s a civil violation.

Second disgrace: The canine the scholar was strolling was tied to a tree by ICE brokers after which his collar was unclipped, permitting the, I think about, scared animal to run free on Sepulveda Boulevard, in response to a GoFundMe web page.

Actually, Trump? What are you doing? I ponder what occurred to each the scholar and the canine.
