Myleene Klass Highlights Fitness in New Lingerie Campaign
Myleene Klass, the 47-year-old television host and ambassador for the British retailer Freemans, showcased her impressive physique in a pink underwear set while promoting her latest collection. In an engaging Instagram video posted on Friday, she modeled the seamless NUDEA lingerie, which includes a scoop-neck bra and matching mid-rise bottoms designed for comfort and style.
The video features a creative stop-motion style, presenting a first-person view of hands dressing a figure in various outfits from the collection, reminiscent of styling a Barbie doll. This fun approach highlights the versatility and appeal of the new ensembles.
Connection to Recent Family Commentary
This promotional clip follows Klass’s recent defense of Brooklyn Beckham amid ongoing discussions about the Beckham family dynamics. On Thursday, she shared insights on family estrangement from clinical psychologist Dr. Martha Deiros Collado, which appeared to reference the Beckhams directly.
Klass captioned the post: ‘After the memes and mockery, there’s this for us all to consider…’ The explanation states: ‘What is estrangement? When a family member chooses distance, either emotionally or physically, because the relationship feels unsafe, harmful or impossible to repair. Society often frames adult-children who go ‘no-contact’ as spoilt, ungrateful, or as betraying their family. In higher socio-economic families, there is often an assumption that ‘everything they did/paid for’ guarantees lifelong gratitude and obedience. This Authoritarian view on parent-child relationships is the reason we position adult-children who go ‘no contact’ as the problem, rather than acknowledging the deeper relational issues that are at play.’
She also tagged Harry Styles’ song ‘Matilda,’ which explores themes of growing up in a challenging family environment, drawing inspiration from Roald Dahl’s 1988 novel.
Past Views on Child Modeling in the Spotlight
Myleene Klass, mother to Ava, 18, Hero, 14, and Apollo, 6, has previously expressed concerns about young celebrities in the fashion industry. In 2014, she criticized Victoria Beckham for featuring her then-15-year-old son Brooklyn on the cover of Man About Town magazine, and her younger son Romeo, then 11, in a Burberry campaign.
Klass stated at the time: ‘Why would you put them on the front line where they are going to get attacked? They’re still kids, let them be kids! I personally wouldn’t let my child. But I think it’s an exception to the rule – they’re the Beckhams! They’ve got a force field around them where everyone can look after them, but your average Joe will get that barrage of trolls, comments and critiques.’
These earlier remarks resonate with Brooklyn Beckham’s recent social media post, a six-page statement shared on Monday, where he addressed family priorities. An excerpt reads: ‘My family values public promotion and endorsements above all else. Brand Beckham comes first. Family “love” is decided by how much you post on social media, or how quickly you drop everything to show up and pose for a family photo op even if it’s at the expense of our professional obligations.’
He added: ‘We’ve gone out of our way for years to show up and support at every fashion show, every party, and every press activity to show “our perfect family!” But the one time my wife asked for my mum’s support to save displaced dogs during the LA fires, my mum refused. The narrative that my wife controls me is completely backwards. I have been controlled by my parents for most of my life. I grew up with overwhelming anxiety. For the first time in my life, since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared. I wake up every morning grateful for the life I chose, and have found peace and relief. My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press, or manipulation. All we want peace, privacy and happiness for us and our future family.’
