Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., mentioned she is going to oppose funding forward of a Home vote to fund the federal government earlier than the Jan. 30 deadline, saying she won’t approve of giving more cash for the Division of Homeland Safety.

“I can’t vote to offer ICE a single cent,” she wrote. “No extra clean checks for a rogue company that operates above the regulation, escalates violence, and erodes our most elementary freedoms.”

Omar, in addition to many Democratic officers, has repeatedly voiced anger on the Trump administration and the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) due to their crackdown on unlawful immigrant criminals and the taking pictures of Renee Good, who federal authorities mentioned was making an attempt to ram into an ICE officer along with her car.
