The 13th March edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown kicked off with Drew McIntyre hijacking the show, saying he was robbed last week by Cody Rhodes and calling out General Manager Nick Aldis to fix things.
As the Scottish Warrior warned the National Treasure to fix the situation, Jacob Fatu walked out and said he wouldn’t be a champion if it were not for him. Then the Samoan Werewolf claimed he fixed the situation, which is why McIntyre is no longer the champion.
Thanks for the submission!
As the real-life Bloodline member asked The Scotsman what he was going to do, McIntyre got into Aldis’s face and said that he quit and walked away from the crowd, leaving everyone perplexed.

#3. Kayfabe quitting
As of writing this piece, SmackDown is still live, and Jacob Fatu has been booked to face Trick Williams in a singles match following their altercation backstage.
There is a chance that McIntyre’s departure was only a ruse, and he could return during Fatu’s match and cost him his bout against Williams, and then attack him brutally. This could lead to General Manager Nick Aldis booking a grudge contest between the two at WrestleMania 42.
#2. Join WWE RAW
The Chosen One has been part of the Friday Night SmackDown roster for a long time. With him quitting the blue brand tonight, The Scotsman could do the unthinkable by appearing on the Monday Night RAW next week.
The former Undisputed WWE Champion could have a meeting with the red brand’s General Manager, Adam Pearce, and tell him that he is tired of politics on the Friday Night show and has quit the blue brand and wants to continue on the company’s flagship show under his wing.
#1. WrestleMania match setup
Fans and pundits believe a match between Jacob Fatu and Drew McIntyre to be booked for WrestleMania 42. However, the Sports Entertainment juggernaut has also built on the tensions between The Chosen One and General Manager Nick Aldis. Two were seen clashing and exchanging insults before the Samoan Werewolf interfered.
McIntyre quits and attacks everyone on the blue brand every week, crafting a new gimmick for himself, which would infuriate Aldis and could make his in-ring debut in WWE at the Showcase of the Immortals against the Scottish Warrior.
