Eagles put three players on IRGiants make QB change, add kickerTitans make playcaller changeFalcons fire WR coach after getting blanked

Who’s starting, who’s hurt, and who’s on the move?

NFL news is nonstop, and we’re breaking it all down week by week this season.

Here’s the latest on what’s happening around the league entering Week 4:

Eagles put three players on IR

Philadelphia placed linebacker Nolan Smith (triceps), cornerback Jakorian Bennett and wide receiver Darius Cooper (shoulder) on injured reserve. However, all three players are expected to return this season. Smith has logged one forced fumble and 10 combined tackles.

After sitting out the Commanders’ blowout win over the Raiders in Week 3, Daniels was back at practice on Sept. 23, head coach Dan Quinn shared. Daniels suffered a knee sprain in the Commanders’ Week 2 loss to the Packers, with the team saying his injury would keep him out on a day-to-day basis. Even though he was limited on Wednesday, Daniels’ return to practice presumably puts him in a good spot to play against the Falcons on Sunday.

McLaurin, meanwhile, didn’t practice. He left Sunday’s game early due to a quad injury. McLaurin is reportedly seeking multiple opinions on the injury.

Giants make QB change, add kicker

New York is benching veteran Russell Wilson for rookie Jaxson Dart. The Giants are 0-3, with Wilson, who signed a one-year deal with a $10.5 million base salary, having completed 59.1% of his passes and owning a 78.5 passer rating. New York traded up to select Dart with the No. 25 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Meanwhile, the Giants signed kicker Younghoe Koo to their practice squad in the wake of starting kicker Graham Gano injuring his hip before the team’s Week 3 loss to the Chiefs, per NFL Media. Koo was recently released by the Falcons.

Titans make playcaller change

Head coach Brian Callahan is handing offensive playcalling duties to quarterbacks coach Bo Hardegree, per NFL Media. The Titans are 28th in the NFL in points (17.0) and 31st in total yards (222.3 per game). Tennessee is 0-3, while rookie quarterback and first overall pick Cam Ward has completed 54.5% of his passes and owns a 71.4 passer rating.

Tampa Bay’s star receiver will miss “multiple weeks” due to a hamstring injury that he suffered in the team’s Week 3 win over the Jets, per NFL Media. Evans, a six-time Pro Bowler, has logged 14 receptions for 140 yards and one touchdown this season. Tampa Bay sits atop the NFC South at 3-0.

Tracy is expected to miss two-to-four weeks due to a dislocated shoulder that he suffered in the team’s Week 3 loss, per ESPN. Tracy has logged 68 rushing yards and 54 receiving yards this season. In his 2024 rookie campaign, Tracy rushed for 839 yards and five scores on 4.4 yards per carry, while totaling 38 receptions for 284 yards and one score.

Falcons fire WR coach after getting blanked

Atlanta fired wide receivers coach Ike Hilliard after its 30-0 shutout loss to the NFC South-rival Panthers. He was in his second season in the role. The Falcons, who promoted passing game coordinator T.J. Yates to WRs coach, are 1-2.

Bosa tore his ACL on Sunday against the Cardinals, and requires season-ending surgery to repair it, per ESPN. Bosa, a five-time Pro Bowler, had already racked up 17 combined tackles in three games in 2025. While the report is that the tear is clean, it still requires surgery to repair. The 27-year-old lineman injured his knee before the end of the first quarter, when a pair of Cardinals (Kelvin Beachum and Evan Brown) stopped Bosa and knocked him to the ground. He fell with his knee at an awkward angle, and did not return to the game.

Harris will miss the rest of the season after suffering an Achilles injury in Sunday’s win over the Broncos, per NFL Network. Harris collapsed untouched in the backfield after planting his left leg behind him and taking a step forward on a snap in the second quarter. He immediately grabbed his left leg around his ankle and was helped off the field by trainers and carted to the locker room. The 27-year-old Harris signed a one-year, $9.25 million contract with the Chargers in the offseason after four seasons with the Steelers. He had missed training camp due to an eye injury.

Conner is reportedly out for the year with a season-ending ankle injury, per ESPN. Conner’s leg buckled underneath him as he was tackled on a short run and members of the Cardinals’ training staff immediately ran onto the field.

Several Arizona players came off the bench as both teams gathered around Conner as he was being treated. He was then taken off the field on a cart and was immediately ruled out for the rest of the game. Head coach Jonathan Gannon had no update on the extent of the injury following the loss, but his teammates were very concerned.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
