In the NFL, winning your division is often a sign that you can win the Super Bowl.

Consider this: Of the last 14 Super Bowl champions, only one did not win its division in the regular season — Tom Brady’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers back in 2020.

In other words, teams should start with their division and go from there.

Let’s check out the odds for the division winners at DraftKings Sportsbook as of Dec. 29, as well as what to know about each division and its current standing.

NFC EAST

Eagles: Clinched division

What to know: The Eagles (11-5) repeated as division champs, and for the first time since 2003 and 2004, the NFC East has a back-to-back winner.

NFC WEST

Seahawks: Clinched division

What to know: Seattle dominated San Francisco in the Bay Area in Week 18, winning 13-3. With the win, they clinched the NFC West, as well as the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoffs.

NFC NORTH

Bears: Clinched division

What to know: The Bears (11-5) have won the division for the first time since 2018, putting an end to the Lions’ two-year streak.

NFC SOUTH

Panthers: -195 (bet $10 to win $15.13 total)
Buccaneers: +160 (bet $10 to win $26 total)

What to know: The Bucs and Panthers split the season series and both sit at 8-9. If the Falcons beat the Saints on Sunday, Carolina wins the division and is into the postseason. If New Orleans beats Atlanta, the division belongs to Tampa Bay, as does the playoff berth.

AFC EAST

Patriots: Clinched division

What to know: New England (13-3) put an end to the Bills’ five-year streak of AFC East titles, winning its first since 2019.

AFC WEST

Broncos: Clinched division

What to know: Denver (13-3) put an end to the Chiefs’ streak of nine consecutive division titles, winning its first since winning five in a row from 2011 to 2015.

AFC NORTH

Ravens: -210 (bet $10 to win $14.76 total)
Steelers: +170 (bet $10 to win $27 total)

What to know: Pittsburgh (9-7) and Baltimore (8-8) will face off in Week 18 with the division crown on the line. The Steelers will either win their first division title since 2020, or the Ravens will win their third straight.

AFC SOUTH

Jaguars: -900 (bet $10 to win $11.11 total)
Texans: +650 (bet $10 to win $75 total)

What to know: The Jaguars (12-4) need to finish with a better record than the Texans (11-5) since Houston owns the tiebreaker. That means Jacksonville can clinch the division if it beats Tennessee in Week 18 or if Houston loses to Indianapolis. If both lose, the Jags win the division.
