Two folks arrested within the investigation into the Louvre Museum theft final month have been formally charged in reference to the case, in line with the Paris Public Prosecutor’s workplace. Each denied their involvement within the theft.

French authorities recognized the brand new suspects as a 37-year-old man and a 38-year-old lady. They have been charged with organized theft and conspiracy to commit organized theft and remanded into custody.
Moreover, three of the 5 folks arrested on Oct. 29 have been launched from custody, prosecutors stated.

Final week, one suspect was arrested at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport whereas attempting to board a aircraft certain for Algeria, police stated, whereas the second suspect was detained as he was about to journey to Mali.
